Drive System Loher DYNAVERT Loher DYNAVERT are converter systems perfectly tailored to the particular application - especially for demanding sectors such as chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, power station systems, mining, elevators and wind-turbine systems. For locations in hazardous zones they are equipped with an ATEX-certified PTC thermistor shutdown function for explosion-protected motors, Zones 1 and 2.
PWM-Inverters Loher DYNAVERT T Overview General description Technical data overview Features Customer benefits Typical applications General description DYNAVERT T can be flexibly integrated into any automation concept – whether using conventional control technology or bus systems. DYNAVERT T can be connected to any of the normally encountered line supply voltages – and can feed both synchronous and asynchronous motors. All of the drive requirements are taken into consideration from the word go – from the coupling, through the motor, cables, drive inverter, line supply situation and connection to the supervisory control system.
PWM-Inverters for Lifts Loher DYNAVERT L Compact and tailored for these applications Overview General description Technical data overview Features Customer benefits Typical applications General description Loher frequency inverters for elevators, DYNAVERT L guarantee the highest degree of reliability and travel comfort. Depending on the particular requirement, they can be flexibly used for supply voltages extending from 230 V to 500 V. They can control both synchronous as well as induction motors. DYNAVERT L units are efficient, easy to handle and can be used for elevator systems with ratings of up to 105 kW. They are state-of-the-art fully digitized voltage-source DC link converters equipped with fourth generation IGBTs. Their equipping means that they can be easily used in all operating environments – even in hospitals and chemical plants. Today, elevator drives are designed either as gearless or as geared solutions. The benefit of using Loher DYNAVERT L - it is suitable for both systems by setting software parameters only – ee. within DYNASYS S - at gearless and within DYNASYS G at geared solutions.
Converters for Wind Generators Loher DYNAVERT XL Overview General description Technical data overview Features Customer benefits Typical applications General description The Dynavert XL is a converter system for wind turbine systems for double-fed induction generators (DFIG), induction generators (IG), synchronous generators (SG) as well as permanent-magnet generators (PG). All of the filters required as well as the low-voltage switchgear are already integrated into the unit. The Control-Board 08 (CB08) is the core of the Dynavert XL. Based on state-of-the-art dual processor technology, it controls the complete converter sequence. Starting from the line supply monitoring, through synchronization, fault memory up to defined shutdown when faults occur. The CB08 can master any situation.
Current-source Inverters Loher DYNAVERT I Overview General description Technical data overview Features Customer benefits Typical applications General description DYNAVERT I drive units are currentsource DC link inverters that are used to control induction motors. They have a fully controlled B6 bridge circuit on the line side and a B6 inverter circuit on the output side, which utilizes the principle of interphase commutation; this distributes the DC link current from the DC link reactors with a square waveform with frequency f to the motor winding. As a consequence, the motor cable length is almost unlimited. The power flows from the line supply to the motor for a motoring load. For regenerative operation, the rectifier on the line-side feeds the regenerated energy back into the line supply. This means that from the inherent principle, 4-quadrant operation is possible without requiring any additional measures. 12- and 24-pulse versions further reduce the harmonics fed back into the line supply. For this reason DYNAVERT I is the ideal replacement for SIMOVERT A.
